About

Since the 1980's we have been repurposing sample clothing and providing it to missionaries. Clothing that was previously becoming part of landfill is now being distributed all over the world by people with a compassion for others and a passion to reach them for Christ. In Christ's name we support missionaries and those they serve, qualifying missionaries can obtain an appointment to select clothing by contacting our office via email.

This ministry is solely sustained by the monetary gifts of faithful friends who believe in the impact and blessing generated by this clothing. We continually need your contribution of prayer and finances to further the work. Price Evangelistic Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

History

Hazel Price began her foreign missions in the Philippine Islands in 1970 and expanded to Eastern Europe after the fall of communism. Her calling was to establish Bible Schools and prepare the nationals to take the Gospel to their own people. After returning to the states from teaching a seminar in Siberia, Hazel disembarked the airplane with only the clothes on her back and no coat. She was living what she was preaching from Matthew 5:8 "Freely you have received; freely give" and Luke 3:11 and “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”

This was the beginning of the clothing ministry. Routinely, Hazel would pack a suitcase full of clothing and bring it back empty. In the early 1980's an opportunity was presented to obtain larger amounts of sample clothing. Before long a little shop in North Seattle was opened, and soon, missionaries were invited to come and take what they needed for themselves and the communities they served all over the world. When Hazel passed away in 2003, the clothing branch of her ministry continued due to the encouragement and financial assistance of the ministry's supporters as well as a devoted group of volunteers, led by Hazel's daughter Suzanne. We continue to support missionaries and send thousands of pounds of clothing worldwide.
